PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input/output device for digital signals and electronic equipment provided with an input/output device, where no dead space is produced in the housing thereof, reduction in the size and cost thereof can be accomplished, and the reliability of electrical connection and the strength thereof can be improved. SOLUTION: The input/output device is provided with electrically connecting portions 50 and 51, having a connecting portion case for shielding made of metal; a body portion 80 that houses the electrically connecting portions 50 and 51 and is placed in the opening in the housing 12 of electronic equipment, to form a part of the housing 12; a support portion 100 that supports the body portion 80 with respect to the housing 12 so that the body portion is rotatable about the axis of rotation CL, protrudes the body portion 80 from the housing 12, and supports it with the electrically connecting portions 50 and 51 exposed out of the housing 12; and a holding portion 130, which when the body portion 80 with the electrically connecting portions 50 and 51 exposed out of the housing 12 is pushed in, receives and holds the body portion 80 in the housing 12.
