leather industry. SUBSTANCE: rawstock is treated with aqueous solution of enzyme preparation in presence of 3-8% (based on the weight of rawstock) of urea as dispersing organic compound. Rawstock is then frozen at temperature from -18 C to -45 C and unfrozen at 55- 65 C, after which it is aged during 48 to 72 h.
