PURPOSE: An ozone and ultra violet rays generator is provided to increase an amount of the ozone and ultra violet rays to be generated, to extend life span of the generator, which is waterproof and safe to use, and easy to clean. CONSTITUTION: The ozone and ultra violet rays generator consists of a tube, a filament which is installed on the inside of the tube and has a cathode emission adhered thereto for releasing electrons, and mercury and argon gas which are put inside the tube. Here, the filament is formed of a main tungsten wire having a radius between 0.05 and 0.4 millimeters, and a plurality of thin tungsten wires, preferably 1 through 5 strands, having a radius between 0.01 and 0.04 millimeters, which are wound around the main tungsten wire. |
