PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for switching satellite with which satellites are switched efficiently by relieving a load on a base station, without interrupting communication. SOLUTION: Each of a base station and terminals 4 has an orbit calculation means for calculating the orbit of a satellite 1 and a tracing means for tracing the satellite, and each terminal 4 has a storage means to accumulating obstacle (building 5) information around each terminal. Each terminal 4 notifies the base station of the time the orbit of the satellite 1 is overlapped with the obstacle (building 5), on the basis of the obstacle information stored in the storage means and the orbit of the satellite by a start calculation means, after starting of each terminal 4 or the switching of the satellite 1 is finished, and the base station decides the time for switching the satellite 1 on the basis of the notification. |
