PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking function without lowering the output of a motor. SOLUTION: When the motor is operated, a switch 5 is connected as shown by the solid lines, and a closed circuit of power source 1-armature 4-parallel- connected brake coil 2 and field coil 3 is formed. When the motor is stopped, the switch 5 is connected as shown by the broken lines. Then the armature 4 is released from the power source 1, and the parallel-connected field coil 3 is cut off simultaneously, and a closed circuit of the braking coil 2 and the armature 4 is formed.
