PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress temperature rise in a digital image forming system such as a digital camera or the like. SOLUTION: Increase of a dark current of a photodetector following the temperature rise is utilized. The heat amount is reduced by stopping an operation of a heat generating component or decelerating the operating speed of the component when the dark current increases to a predetermined value.
