PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the robustness of a security means so as to warrant a network security feature to be invariably configured through a communication network. SOLUTION: This invention provides a method and a system to analyze a peripheral security of a communication network. The specific communication network especially defines e.g. an intra-network and information to identify a host connected thereto is identified. Using the information as above decides the identification of the route defining the network. By using the route information, the connection of the host in the network such as the intra-network is allowed to warrant the integrity of the network and the connection is checked to identify a potential security risk in the defense of the peripheral of the network.
