PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily understandable GUI, and to realize efficient gray conversion which is not dependent of any picture application software in a gray converting device for converting color picture data into monochromatic picture data. SOLUTION: Gray conversion can be controlled by controlling the rate of RGB, and a gamma curve for gamma correction is displayed on a screen, and the influence of the control of the rate of RGB and/or the control of the gamma correction on the gray conversion is displayed on the screen. Thus, it is possible to control the rate of RGB and the gamma correction while confirming the result of the gray conversion, and to improve the efficiency of the gray conversion. |
