PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out a message indication corresponding to a customer on a customer indicator when the customer comes in a specific area and to impart no operation burden to an operator. SOLUTION: This processing device is provided with a customer identification ID; a memory storing a customer information such as an indication content restriction information; a non-contact type IC card 8 provided with a radiocommunication device; a customer indicator 6; a second memory storing various kinds of basic messages and various kinds of attribute messages; and a radiocommunication device 9 capable of being radiocommunicated with the IC card at an area A1 and comprises an electronic cash register 3 for registering and processing a commodity selling information. The cash register carries out a communication requirement to the IC card at the area A1 and the IC card reads out the customer information from the memory and wireless-transmits it to the cash register when the IC card receives the communication requirement. When the cash register receives the customer information, it reads out the basic message and the attribute message suitable for the customer information from the memory based on the indication content restriction information and indicates them on the customer indicator.
