<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To microwave frequency multiplier circuit that can ensure a stable and sure operation by suppressing fluctuations at a bias point independently of input power of a fundamental wave. SOLUTION: A current sensing resistor 7 senses a drain current of a multiplication transistor (TR) 1, and a control circuit 3 receives a voltage drop across a current sensing resistor 7 receiving the drain current. The control circuit 3 applies a gate voltage Vg to a gate of the multiplication TR 1 so as to make the drain current constant. Thus, even when input power is increased, fluctuations at a bias point can be suppressed thereby ensuring a stable and sure operation.</p> |
