PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle radio reception system that can capture TMC(traffic message channel) data, without causing sense of incongruity to a user, even when receiving a radio program with one system (a single tuner). SOLUTION: When TMC data are not included in a broadcast radio wave from a broadcast station received by a tuner 13 of a radio receiver 10, a 1st control means 11 discriminates as to whether there exists interrupt processing from a navigation unit 30, allows a display means 37 to conduct information guidance with respect to the interrupt processing, when there does exist an interrupt processing, the radio receiver 10 selects the channel of other broadcast station broadcasting a broadcast radio wave, including the TMC data, while the information guidance is made and the 1st control means 11 extracts the TMC data from the broadcast radio wave. |
