PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patterned electrolyte film which has high efficiency in power generation and excellent durability, even when the environment to use the electrolyte film differs from part to part. SOLUTION: The patterned electrolyte film has different physical and chemical characteristics of a specific part from a part adjoining to the specific part of the electrolyte film. Such a patterned electrolyte film can be manufactured by putting a mask 12 formed in a predetermined pattern on the electrolyte film 10, by applying a cross-linking agent, a function-adding agent, or the like only on a part not covered with the mask 12, and by carrying out a chemical reaction of the electrolyte film with the cross-linking agent, the function adding agent, or the like applied selectively. |
