PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect defects by processing on real-time basis an image inputted from a line sensor camera, without using hardware exclusive for image processing. SOLUTION: When processing of image data from plural line sensor cameras 121-12N is required, one board computer 11 is assigned to one line sensor camera 12 process an image. The result of the image processing is transferred to a host computer 13 coupled by a LAN, and the host computer 13 displays the result of the image processing from the board computers 111-11N on a display 14. |
