PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damages to contact parts by friction by directly contacting a plurality of contact pieces of a connector to electrode pads formed in a circuit board, and providing a landing mechanism. SOLUTION: This connector has the plurality of contact pieces, each to be contacted to a plurality of electrode pads of the circuit board, and a contact piece holding member for holding the plurality of contact pieces each in predetermined positions and having a board-guiding part for inserting the board. The contact pieces have the contact parts, each to be brought into contact with the electrode pads, contact surfaces abutting to an end part of the board when the board is inserted in the board guiding part, and terminal parts each coupled to electric wiring to which this connector is connected. In the initial stage of insertion of the board, the contact parts are in positions which do not contact the end part of the board so that no friction occurs with the end part of the board; and the end part of the board presses against the contact surfaces following the insertion of the board to resiliently deform the contact pieces, so that the contact parts contact the electrode pads. |
