PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array antenna that can suppress production of side lobes without power distribution. SOLUTION: In the array antenna where radiation elements are placed on a line at an equal interval, a reflecting plate that is shaped to be part of a cylinder (its cross-section is shaped to be a semicircular gutter) is placed behind the respective radiation elements, the diameter of the cylinder of the reflection plates is selected larger toward the center axis of the array antenna and the reflecting plates are placed behind the respective radiation elements in left-right symmetry with respect to the center axis.
