PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveguide filter that can be downsized by decreasing the length of the filter. SOLUTION: Low impedance waveguides 12 and branch waveguides 13 are alternately arranged and connected onto a center line of a rectangular main body 10. The low impedance waveguides 13 are placed on a line and the branch waveguides 13 are placed so as to extend toward both sides in orthogonal directions with respect to the arrangement direction of the low impedance waveguides and the tips of the branch waveguides are closed. Thus, the branch waveguides formed in crossing are branched toward the E plane with respect to the low impedance waveguides. Even when the branch waveguides get longer, the effect on the length of the filter can almost be avoided and the length of the waveguide filter is the total sum of the length of the low impedance waveguides and the length of the branch waveguides and is shortened.
