PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose the unit case structure of a memory drive unit that is seamless and has an excellent radiation property. SOLUTION: A unit case 2 of the MO drive unit 1 is composed of a cylindrical case body 10 that is an aluminum extrusion molding, a plastic front frame 20 that is mounted to a front opening 12, and a plastic rear frame 30 that is mounted to a rear opening 13. In the inside, a chassis 5 where each part is mounted is fitted. A pair of upper and lower leaf springs 9 and 9 prevents clattering in the chassis 5, where the pair is arranged between the chassis 5 and the side walls 14 and 15 of the body 10. By the spring force of a leaf spring member, the chassis 5 adheres to contact surfaces 151 a and 152a for radiation on the side wall 15, thus fitting the chassis into the case body being the aluminum extrusion molding without any clattering, and also achieving the superior radiation property in the unit case since the case body adheres to the chassis.
