<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high throughput by suppressing the delay time of a packet switch. SOLUTION: Packet contention control is conducted by using a control time slot in the unit of a fixed length lower than a maximum packet length. When packets are not filled in the control time slot, simultaneous arrivals of packet from input ports are permitted. In the case of containing one packet or more to the control time slot, the packets are contained by taking the priority into account and the packets with higher priority are transferred sequentially.</p> |
