METHOD FOR INPUTTING EXTRA INFORMATION AND METHOD FOR EDITING VIDEO AND APPARATUS AND SYSTEM USING THESE METHODS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inputting extra information, a method for editing video and an apparatus and a system using these methods in which extra information is previously recorded together at the time of imaging a material so that the materials are outputted while being rearranged according to the order at the time of broadcast. SOLUTION: At the time of imaging, extra information (e.g. scene number) concerning to a material being imaged by means of a camera recorder is inputted to a control signal generating section through an extra information input section. The control signal generating section generates a control signal of a predetermined format based on the extra information and delivers it to the camera recorder. The camera recorder records the received control signal together with a picked up image. At the time of edition, a nonlinear editor manages both the positional information of the imaged material on a recording section and the extra information for each material obtained from the control signal. The materials are outputted being rearranged according to the order at the time of broadcast based on the managed extra information.
