PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a semiconductor relay control circuit adopting a control method through the use of residual electric charges in connected capacitance, where a semiconductor element is in series resonance to the oscillating frequency of a stabilized bias circuit, supplies a resonance frequency current, while being in organically coupled to produce the connection capacitance and the supply of a thyristor latching current is limited by utilizing the connected capacitance. SOLUTION: An AC voltage with an oscillating frequency is rectified into a DC oscillating bias voltage, the semiconductor element is brought into series resonance and is coupled organically and the voltage is converted into a stabilized and regulated capacitor charging/ discharging current. A resonance frequency current within a hysteresis operation width is obtained accordingly to configure a series resonance bias circuit resulting in the connected capacitance to be generated, whereas the supply of a thyristor latching current is limited to decrease a thyristor voltage switching power, thereby restricting the thyristor latching current. Thus, this invention provides a relay control circuit, consisting of a series resonance bias circuit of a organically coupled element, resulting from cascade connection of a thyristor element to a transistor(TR), where a collector current in a saturation region intermittently supplies a thyristor holding current for the purpose of replacing a conventional mechanical contact relay or of concurrent use of it by means of a mere switch control between a base electrode and a gate electrode or between the base electrode and a cathode.
