PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain stabilization by suppressing adverse influences caused by external noises turned from a power source line or communication line through an I/O module by using a battery as a power source for driving and using optical communication for a communication means with a main body. SOLUTION: A power source 14 for main body and a ground line 15 are connected to a main body 32 of measuring instrument and further, an I/O module 31 provided with a battery 34 for I/O module is connected through an optical cable 33. Then, the main body 32 of measuring instrument is operated by the power source 14 for main body and the I/O module 31 is driven by the built-in dedicated battery 34. The I/O module 31 performs various kinds of measurement and transmits collected data through the optical cable 33 to the main body 32 of measuring instrument, and the main body 32 of measuring instrument transmits various kinds of setting information or control information through the optical cable 33 to the I/O module 31. Thus, since the I/O module 31 is driven by the battery, noises turned from the power source line or communication line can be completely removed. |
