PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil conductor for a dynamo-electric machine, which has small skin effect, even at high frequency and can keep output and is easy of manufacture, and can elevate the productivity of the coil. SOLUTION: A coil conductor for a dynamo-electric machine is one which is to be inserted into the slot of the iron core of a dynamo-electric machine, and it is made by pressing so that it may be a bundle roughly rectangular in cross section consisting of a plurality of element wires pressure-welded with one another. The coil conductor may have the shape of a clank equipped with a straight part for slot insertion and a cross part to serve as a coil end. It will do to cover each of the element wires with an insulator, or to cover the whole of the coil conductor, and the insulating cover is selectively removed for winding as needed.
