A method of carrying out a piece of construction work by juxtaposing paper faced plasterboards, filling the space between them with a filler plaster, applying a tape, covering the tape with the filler plaster and then covering the filling plaster with a finishing coat in which the weight ratio of the silicone content of the finishing coat to that of the facing is 3-10.
