A system element for connecting a transducer with a fluid-flow system, in which part of the wall of the measuring chamber consists of a flexible membrane with a built-up edge which fits into a channel in the housing, the inner wall of the channel being lower than the outer wall. A system element (A) (1) for the reversibly sealed connection of a transducer with a fluid system, comprising a measuring chamber (7) connected with the fluid system in such a way as to allow through-flow and formed in a housing (10), part of the wall of chamber (7) being formed by a membrane (11) which is considerably more flexible than the rest of the wall (15). The membrane (11) has, on the side facing the chamber (7), a peripheral built-up section (20) which fits into a channel (19) formed in the housing and extending round the chamber (7), and the wall of the channel nearest the chamber (7) (inner wall 16) is lower than the wall furthest from the chamber (outer wall 17). Independent claims are also included for: (a) a system element (B) for the reversibly sealed connection of a transducer (12) to a fluid system containing sensor(s) for converting pressure and pressure changes into electrical signals, the sensor being mounted in a housing (26) containing a pressure-transferring fluid or gel, closed on one side by a transducer membrane (23) and configured in the area (24) surrounding the membrane for the attachment of a system element of type (A) (above), i.e. in such a way that this surrounding area (24) essentially encloses the membrane (23) in a ring, while the measuring range of the sensor at least covers differential pressures of -250 to +1000 mmHg in relation to the surroundings; (b) a set comprising elements (A) and (B), in which (A) forms a pressure dome and (B) forms a transducer.
