<p>The invention concerns a method and a device for measuring the power of an electric signal (S) enabling to: (a) produce a series of successive samples (Sn) of the signal (S); (b) producing a sequence of successive values (Pn) of the signal (S) instantaneous power, each of said values being obtained from the value of a respective sample of the sequence of successive values (Sn) of the signal (S); (c) producing N sequences of successive values (Pjn) of the average power of the signal (S) on respectively N time windows with increasing respective widths, where N is an integer such that N ≥ 2, from the values of the sequence of successive values (Pn) of the signal (S) instantaneous power.</p> |
