The proximal end of a coolant nozzle (11) is inserted into a large-diameter portion provided at an end of a shaft's coolant passage. The coolant nozzle is urged toward the distal end by a coil spring (15), and is prevented from coming out, by a stopper screw (17). An O-ring seal (19) is provided at the distal end face of the coolant nozzle, and contacts to the periphery of an opening to a coolant passage of a tool holder. The O-ring may be easily replaced because the it can be removed together with the coolant nozzle after the removal of the stopper screw.
