The mobile elevator platform assembly has a driving chassis (12) to carry a jib structure (14) on a rotating tower (24). The rotating tower has a turntable (26) linked to a geared drive (32), and a leveling tower (28) to support the jib structure. The leveling tower and turntable are connected through a rotary axis (30). At least one pitch angle sensor (40) is at the leveling tower to control at least one raining/lowering mechanism (42) to keep the leveling tower horizontal independently of the chassis angle or the angle of the turntable.
