The device has a holder part with claws (4) for the batten, and an anchoring part. The holder part (1) is continuously adjustable via the fixed anchoring part (2) via a thread, in longitudinal direction and through a distance, which is defined by the contact of the anchoring part on the holder part. An adjusting screw (3) engages with its thread into an inner thread in the anchoring part, and is turnable in bearings (5) on the holder part.
