A coating composition (I) contains: (A) at least one linear oligomeric or polymeric binder containing: (i) at least two functional side-groups reactive with alkoxycarbonylamino (on average) per molecule; and (ii) a linear 'flexibilizing' group in the oligomer or polymer chain; and (B) at least one tris-(alkoxycarbonylamino)-triazine (II) as crosslinking agent. A coating composition (I) contains: (A) at least one linear oligomeric or polymeric binder containing: (i) at least two functional side-groups reactive with alkoxycarbonylamino (on average) per molecule; and (ii) a linear 'flexibilizing' group in the oligomer or polymer chain; and (B) at least one tris-(alkoxycarbonylamino)-triazine of formula (II) as crosslinking agent. R = preferably methyl, butyl and/or 2-ethylhexyl.
