The invention concerns a supply air terminal device (10) and a method for ventilation. The device includes an inlet chamber (11) for the fresh supply air and an inlet duct (11a) leading to it. The inlet chamber (11) includes several tubes (12a1, 12a2 ...) located side by side from the inlet chamber (11) to the outlet chamber (13). In the device solution, secondary air (L2) is circulated into a space (O) between the inlet chamber and the outlet chamber and further thence through the outlet chamber's flow path (d1) induced by primary air (L1) made to flow from the outlet chamber's tubes (12a1, 12a2 ...) into the outlet chamber (13), and the combined airflow (L1 + L2) is made to flow into the room space (H).
