The heating unit is connected with the object in modular and detachable fashion. The induction heating unit sits in a housing which can be plugged together with the object by a plug connection. The induction heating unit is connected with the object in detachable fashion by a screw connection. The object to be heated comprises a container of insulating material in which a metallic object is located so that an induction current can be induced in it. A fluid found in the container can be heated by this metallic object.
