PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the outdoor machine of an air-conditioner to reduce the number of parts by forming a waterproof cover integrally with other part and reducing a cost. SOLUTION: The interior of a body 1 is partitioned into a heat exchange chamber 4 and a machine room 5 by a partition plate 3 erected from a base 2 and an outdoor heat exchanger 6 and an outdoor blower 8 fixed at a motor mounting stand 7 erected from the base are situated in the heat exchange chamber. A compressor 9 is situated at the lower part of the machine room and an electric accessory box 11 containing an operation control device, such as compressor, is situated at the upper part thereof. The electric accessory box is provided with an air supply port 11a to input outside air and an air discharge port 11b which is formed fronting on the heat exchange chamber and through which air in the electric accessory box is sucked and discharged by the outside blower. The waterproof cover 12 to prevent entrance of rainwater agitated by the blower is situated at the air discharge port. In the so formed outdoor machine of the air-conditioner, since the waterproof cover is formed integrally with the motor mounting stand, the number of parts can be reduced and a cost can be decreased.
