PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic resin foam easy in both the preparation and molding processing operation of the material thereof, high in flexibility at normal and lower temperatures, cushionability, vibration damping tendency, soundproofness, thermal insulation and gas barrier resistance, causing no plasticizer oozing, and excellent in weatherability and thermal stability. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic resin foam is obtained by expanding a thermoplastic resin composition comprising an isobutylene-based block copolymer composed of isobutylene-based polymer block and another kind of polymer block consisting of monomer component not barred on isobutylene and a foaming agent. The above expandable thermoplastic resin composition is used for obtaining this foam.
