<p>A foldable carriage comprises a handle unit 2 including a pair of spaced apart struts 24 with a pair of curved handle grips 21 pivoted to an upper end of the struts and connected at their upper ends by a first releasable manually operable locking unit 3 which on release allows the handgrips to pivot relative to each other and the struts, a pair of wheeled frames 4 each movably mounted on a respective strut, and being foldable when moved relative to the struts, a pair of second locking units (6, Fig 2) for interlocking said struts and said frames to prevent relative movement, and a pair of transmission links (61, Fig 2) each connected between the first locking unit and one of the second locking units, to release said second locking units on release of said first locking unit.</p> |
