PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive recording medium capable of giving storage stability of a recorded image or particularly recording characteristics such as excellent moisture resistance, heat resistance and plasticizer resistance, and having almost no skin fog with high sensitivity. SOLUTION: The thermosensitive recording medium comprises a thermosensitive recording layer containing in combination a 4,4'- dihydroxydiphenylsulfone as a developer, at least one type selected from the group consisting of metal salts of a specific aromatic carboxylic acid (e.g. a zinc salt of a 4-tert-butylbenzoic acid, zinc salt of a monobenzyl ester of a phthalic acid or the like) as a storage stabilizer and further a sensitizer (e.g. a diphenylsulfone or the like). |
