PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal type continuously variable transmission capable of favorably securing the assembling accuracy of an input disc to an input shaft at a low cost, preventing lowering of durability of a roller and a raceway surface and unstable transmission of torque and improving productivity. SOLUTION: A guide surface 5c formed by a circumferential surface is provided in a position adjacent to a spline hole 5a of the inner periphery of the input disc 5. The guide surface 5c is made to coincide with the input shaft 3 so as to secure the assembling accuracy of the input disc 5 to the input shaft 3.
