摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a GPS receiver which can output an accurate error estimation value according to the influence degree of a multipath even when an influence due to the multipath is contained in a GPS positioning solution. SOLUTION: An error-coefficient setting means senses the degree of the influence due to the multipath, and it outputs a pseudo-range error coefficient Em according to the degree. An error estimation means calculates an error estimation value DRMS by the definition of DRMS=HDOP*(σUERE2+Em2)1/2 on the basis of the error coefficient Em obtained from the error-coefficient setting means. The navigation system evaluates the accuracy of the GPS positioning solution by using the DRMS in which the influence degree due to the multipath is reflected.
