PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply proper back pressure to a turning scroll even at either operation time in a scroll compressor capable of switching inside high pressure operation and inside low pressure operation. SOLUTION: A back pressure chamber of the turning scroll 132 is divided into a first back pressure chamber A for communicating with a driving chamber 112 and an independent second back pressure chamber B by first and second thrust rings 160 and 170, and pressure in the second back pressure chamber B is set to delivery pressure or suction pressure according to an operation mode.
