<p>PURPOSE: A cement-based stabilizing agent for the secure disposal of wastes bearing hazardous constituents is provided to reduce the mobility of the hazardous constituents such as heavy metals and thereby limit the amount of constituent that can be leached when water or a mild acid solution comes into contact with waste matrix. CONSTITUTION: The cement-based stabilizing agent is produced by blending cement 360-440kg/m¬3; water 105-135kg/m¬3; bottom ash 820-1000kg/m¬3; aggregate 810-990kg/m¬3; 2-6wt.% of a stabilizing agent, based on the weight of cement to be blended, wherein the stabilizing agent is prepared by mixing NaCl 100-120g, Na2CO3 550-700g, NaAlO2 150-180g, FeCl3 20-50g, CaCl2 50-100g in 10L water.</p> |
