PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of assembling an ink jet nozzle 11 whereby even the small ink jet nozzle 11 can be accurately assembled without a positional deviation. SOLUTION: A nozzle body 12 and nozzle plates 13, 14 and 15 to be mounted to a front face of the nozzle body 12 are positioned by fitting in a groove part 34 of a nozzle assembly frame 32 formed in a nearly equal shape to outer shapes of front faces of the nozzle body 12 and the nozzle plates 13, 14 and 15. The nozzle body 12 and the nozzle plates 13, 14 and 15 are united in the groove part 34 of the nozzle assembly frame 32. Accordingly, even the small ink jet nozzle 11 can be accurately assembled without being deviated in position.
