PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pavement by pavement panels, in which load pressure is dispersed, a large number of soil surfaces, to which load pressure is not affected, are installed and the supply of rainwater and air to trees is facilitated. SOLUTION: The pavement panels, which are composed of rectangular panels formed in rectangular parallelopipeds respectively and two leg panels symmetrically opposed, forming stepped sections on the lower sides of the rectangular panels and in which the rectangular panels have long-side length (a) and short-side length (b) in fixed thickness, the leg panels have the relationship of c=b+2f in long-side length (c) in fixed thickness and both short sides of the leg panels are positioned at equal distances from both ends of the long sides of the rectangular panels and projecting length (e) from the long sides of the rectangular panels is projected in e=(a-b)/2, are fast stuck mutually, the top faces of the rectangular panels are positioned in the same plane, the long sides of the rectangular panels are crossed at right angles mutually in the adjacent pavement panels, each side face of the short sides of the rectangular panels and long sides on the outsides of the leg panels is positioned in the same plane, and grooves in width (f) are formed by the long sides and short sides of the rectangular panels, thus obtaining the water absorption type pavement. Sections among the lower ends of long sides on the insides of the leg panels may be formed in an arcuate shape brought into contact with the undersides of the rectangular panels. Accordingly, rainwater and air are easy to flow into soil and the pavement is gentle to botanical environment.
