PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify constitution, to compactify a size, to enhance cooling efficiency and to reduce a noise. SOLUTION: An engine enclosure for a construction vehicle provided with an engine hood 15 formed with an outside air taking-in port 24 and an engine sidecover 16 formed with an outside air taking-in port 38 is provided with an outside air-flow shielding wall in the periphery of a muffler to make outside air for cooling taken in from the ports 24, 38 flow to a fan side without contacting the muffler 5. Since air in the periphery of the muffler brought into a high temperature inside an engine chamber is thereby separated from the outside air for cooling sucked in from the engine hood and the engine sidecover, temperature elevation of the outside air flowing to a heat-exchanger such as a radiator is reduced to enhance the cooling efficiency.
