PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car washing device capable of effectively utilizing the site of a gas station by using a car washing place for other purposes, and a splash preventing device capable of effectively preventing splash during car washing. SOLUTION: This car washing device is provided with a hose containing case 11 provided on a canopy 2 at an upper part of a car washing zone 1 in a gas station site, a hose moving mechanism 12 contained in the hose containing case 11, an elevation mechanism 13 installed on the hose moving mechanism 12, a spray nozzle 14 elevated by the elevation mechanism 13, and a cleaning unit 34 to selectively supply water, cleaning liquid and air to the spray nozzle 14.
