PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photopolymerizable composition having high sensitivity to light in the visible region and in a long wavelength region such as the near IR region, insensitive to light in the UV region and excellent in handleability under a white fluorescence lamp and to provide a photopolymerizable planographic printing plate. SOLUTION: The photopolymerizable composition contains (A) an ethylenically unsaturated compound, (B) a dye cation-containing dye having a structure containing heteroatoms bonded by way of a polymethine chain as the basic structure and having a substituent containing an acid anion group, its ester group or its salt group on the basic structure and (C) a photopolymerization initiator. The photopolymerizable planographic printing plate is obtained by forming a layer of the photopolymerizable composition on the surface of a substrate. |
