POLYORGANOSILOXANE EMULSION AND COSMETIC COMPRISING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an emulsion which excels in controllability of emulsion polymerization reaction to a great extent and neither discolors not affects the environment and excels in the stability of the emulsion as well. SOLUTION: The polyorganosiloxane emulsion is obtained by subjecting (A) a silanol group-terminated polydiorganosiloxane represented by the formula: HO[(R1)2SiO]mH (wherein R1 is a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group which may be the same or different from each other; and (m) is a value render the viscosity at 25 deg.C of component (A) 10-3,000 cSt) to emulsion polymerization in the presence of (B) at least two kinds of anionic surface active agents to be selected from (B1) a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfuric acid, (B2) a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether phosphoric acid, and (B3) an alkyl sulfate [provided that the mixing ratio is 1/20 to 20/1 in the case of two kinds selected, and (1-20)/(1-20)/(1-20) in the case of three kinds selected] and (C) water.
