The mold (8) is heated under a reduced pressure while ejecting steam generated by the heating through the steam ven t portion. Dielectric breakdown is prevented which is ascribed to the condensation of a large quantity of steam generated from the material during the thermal molding of cakes by electric heating or induction heating.
