PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for curing rot disease of apples capable of treating the rot disease with a simple work without trouble, and to provide a curing tool to be used in the method. SOLUTION: This method is characterized by comprising, in curing rot disease which has occurred in the branches and trunk of an apple tree 10, setting water- containing sheet-like water-absorbed bodies 12, 20 and 30 on the affected part(s) 11 of rot disease and covering the outside surfaces of the water-absorbed bodies 12, 20 and 30 with water-impermeable films 14 and 26.
