PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair without increasing the weight, which can be used in a comfortable condition even by a very short person. SOLUTION: A second bracket 14 is fixed to a seat receiver 3 by welding. A swing frame 5 is attached to the second bracket 14 by a second pin 15. A bush 11 fit with a gas cylinder 1 penetrates through the seat receiver 3, the second bracket 14, and a first bracket 10 and is welded to the first bracket 10 and the seat receiver 3. Because the second bracket 14 plays a role to reinforce the seat receiver 3, the anchoring strength of the gas cylinder 1 can be improved.
