PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided which automatically confirms whether slab burr is removed or not on an online roller table at the rear side of a burr removal device for the burr that is formed at the lower part of the slab when cutting a slab produced from a continuous casting machine in a torch cutting machine. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for confirming whether slab burr is removed or not consisting of a slab deformation compensation device(A) compensating a deformation amount of a slab(300) so that whether a burr(400) is removed or not is confirmed, and a slab burr sensing device(B) confirming whether the burr(400) is removed or not, the slab deformation compensation device(A) comprises an air cylinder(7) operating a slab sensing roll(8) so that it is ascended or descended, sliding plates operating the slab sensing roll(8) so that it is smoothly ascended or descended, a bearing stand(1) and a cover(2) supporting a bearing block(3), a stopper(5) and a bolt member(5a) controlling an elevation of the slab sensing roll(8), and a base plate(6) on which the slab burr sensing device(B) is rested, and the slab burr sensing device(B) comprises sliding plates for smoothly ascending or descending a spring block(105) and a burr sensing roll(107) in which a spring is installed so that the burr sensing roll(107) is descended, a stand and a cover(101) supporting a support beam(103), a stopper(106) and a bolt member controlling an elevation of the burr sensing roll(107), and sensors sensing whether the burr is removed or not, and sensors controlling driving speeds of burr removal confirming devices and a roller(200).
