Cosmetics characterized by comprising a silicone-modified wax wherein a low molecular weight polyethylene and/or low molecular weight polypropylene are linked to silicone via ester bonds. When applied, these cosmetics can be smoothly spread and impart a refreshing feel in using. Moreover, they are highly sweat- and water-repellant and give favorable softness, smoothness, an emollient effect, etc. without damaging adequate moisture transpiration. Furthermore, they exert an excellent effect of imparting natural gloss and a high stability with the passage of time.
